Well, let me tell ya, if you’re lookin’ for a good drink, you might wanna try this thing called “Cinnabar Chardonnay.” Now, I ain’t no fancy sommelier or nothin’, but I do know a thing or two about wines. This one, Cinnabar Chardonnay, comes from Monterey, over on the Central Coast of California. Real nice place, you know? It’s got all kinds of fruit flavors, like stone fruit and some yellow apple thrown in. Quite a smooth little number, if you ask me.
Now, Chardonnay is a big deal, and it’s all over the place in vineyards. I hear it covers about 40% of the land they got in them vineyards. It’s a popular grape, no doubt. A lot of people like it ’cause it’s so versatile. You can drink it alone, or pair it with food – either way, it’s gonna taste good. I reckon that’s why it’s so famous, ’cause it don’t matter where you are, folks like that smooth and fruity flavor.
The Cinnabar Chardonnay, specifically, is from the 2022 vintage. They say it’s got some fruity smells – stone fruit, and yellow apples. Now, I don’t know all them fancy words, but I reckon that’s just like peaches or plums mixed with a good ol’ Granny Smith apple smell. Makes ya wanna take a big ol’ sniff, don’t it?
It don’t stop there though. If you get yourself a bottle of the 2020 or even the 2009 version, you’re still gonna get that nice, fruity taste. Folks talk about these wines like they’ve been aged in some fine oak barrels, but I ain’t so sure about that. All I know is they taste good, and that’s all that matters in my book.
They call this wine a “Central Coast Classic,” and it sure sounds like it. Before 2002, they just called it “Central Coast,” but then they decided to give it a special name. And that Monterey part? Well, that’s a separate area all on its own, with a big ol’ 640 acres of grape vines. Lots of room for grapes to grow, that’s for sure.
If you ever find yourself out there in California, it’s worth stoppin’ by the Monterey area to pick up a bottle of this stuff. They got all sorts of wines, but the Cinnabar Chardonnay stands out, especially if you’re after something that’ll go down easy and leave a nice fruity taste in your mouth.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a wine that’s smooth, fruity, and easy to drink, I’d say go for a bottle of Cinnabar Chardonnay. Whether it’s the 2022, 2020, or even an older one, you can’t go wrong. Just pour yourself a glass, sit back, and enjoy it. That’s all you really need to know.
