Alright, let’s talk about this here ALT Crystal 23 thing, whatever it is. Folks are makin’ a big fuss about it, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, you know?
Now, I ain’t no fancy perfume expert or nothin’. I just know what smells good and what don’t. And this here Crystal 23, well, it smells… strong. Real strong. Like them flowers that grow in the rich folks’ gardens, the ones that smell so sweet they make your head spin a little. Jasmine, they call it? Yeah, that’s the one. This stuff’s got a whole heap of jasmine in it, I reckon.
But it ain’t just flowers, mind you. There’s somethin’ else in there, somethin’… spicy? Yeah, that’s the word. Spicy and warm, like when you’re cookin’ up a big pot of stew on a cold winter day. They say it’s saffron, this here spicy thing. Never heard of it myself, but it sure does give this Crystal 23 a kick.
And then there’s this woodsy smell, like the cedar chests my grandma used to have. Kept her quilts in ’em, she did. Smelled clean and strong, just like this perfume. Now, I ain’t never smelled that one, but if it’s anythin’ like this, it must be somethin’ else. ‘Cause this Crystal 23, it’s the kind of smell that stays with ya. You put a little dab on in the mornin’, and you’ll still be smellin’ it come supper time. Might even still smell it after you wash your clothes, for all I know.

Now, I ain’t sayin’ it’s a bad smell, mind you. Just sayin’ it’s strong. Real strong. And it lasts a long time, which I guess is a good thing if you like the smell. But if you’re the kind of person who likes a light, airy perfume, well, this ain’t it. This is for the folks who want to make an impression. The folks who want to walk into a room and have everyone turn their heads.
I heard some folks online talkin’ about it too. Seems like they either love it or hate it, ain’t much in between. One gal said she agreed with a review, so I guess there’s other folks out there who think this stuff is somethin’ special. Me? I’m still on the fence. It’s a powerful smell, like I said, and it sure does last. But is it for me? I ain’t so sure. Maybe if I was goin’ to a fancy party or somethin’, I might wear a dab. But for everyday wear? Nah, I reckon it’s a bit much for this old lady.
But hey, if you like strong perfumes, and you want somethin’ that’s gonna get you noticed, then this here ALT Crystal 23 might be just the ticket.
