Well, let me tell ya ’bout this green crystal thing, alright? Don’t know much about fancy names or nothin’, but I know what I see and what feels right, ya know?
This green stuff, they call it crystal, it’s kinda like them shiny rocks you find by the creek, but prettier. Some are light green, like the new leaves in spring, and some are dark, like them pine trees on the hill. They say each one’s different, got its own… what’s that word? Ah, forget it. Each one’s special, that’s what I mean.
My old granny, she used to say green rocks bring good luck. She’d keep a little green one in her pocket all the time. Said it helped her crops grow and kept the bad spirits away. Don’t know if it’s true, but her tomatoes were always the biggest in the county, so maybe there’s somethin’ to it.
